    I’m rather taken with Linwood‘s quirky new wallpaper range, Ephemera. Two designs in particular would make great feature walls in an open-plan kitchen diner scheme.

    The simple, yet effective, ‘High Rise’ design would make an eye-catching feature wall in an eclectic kitchen scheme.

    New! Striking stone splashback

    I’ve always loved natural materials at home. Several, hopefully sustainable, trees have been felled to fill my house with wooden furniture and there’s a substantial amount of slate on the floors.

    So you can imagine how excited I was to discover this stunning stone splashback from Mandarin Stone.

    Part of a collection called ‘Splitface‘, these tiles are perfect for a kitchen feature wall. Not only is texture is very ‘in’ right now, these tiles don’t need any grouting, so are really easy to fit.

    The only downside is that if you’re using them behind a wet area, you’ll need to waterproof the wall but I feel it’s a small price to pay.

    Available in a variety of shades from creams to blacks from a purse-friendly £40 per sqm.
